MASS (Mobile Agri Support Services) VAN
Supported by NABARD EEE implemented a landmark pilot project under the Kisan Samriddhi Yojana called “MASS — Mobile Agri Support Services” in 2024 in partnership with the Professor Jayshankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) and the Extension Education Institute (EEI). MASS was implemented in three NITI Aayog Aspiration Districts or Telangana- Asifabad, Bhupalpally, and Kothagudem.
MASS is a revolutionary Phygital model (Physical + Digital) connecting rural communities, self-help groups, and youth with holistic agricultural solutions.
MASS bridges hyper-local data with Big Data, AI, IoT, and Precision Farming. It aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on climate action, poverty reduction, and gender equality.
MASS Mobile Agri Support Services Phygital Physical & Digital last mile connecting innovative platform is a unique model designed and developed to reach the rural communities, farmers, women self help groups, rural youth and offer them holistic solutions to improve livelihoods and increase farm revenues.
Collection of hyper local data is very important to implement Big Data, AI, IoT, Precision Farming which helps to achieve UN’s SDGs climate change, poverty eradication, gender equality. Soil health and water health is very crucial and educating farmers with agri tech, uberization of agriculture and allied sector with market linkage taking local products to global reach.
Organic farming, vertical farming, integrated farming with agriculture, horticulture, agriculture, poultry, livestock, fisheries, food processing, capacity building, certification, global gap will help for food security. Dr.Pasam 6P – Procure, Process, Promote, productivity, profitability and prosperity are very important. Dr.Pasam TPM- Traceability, Process and Market for the entire Agriculture and Allied Sector will bring cheer to all the stakeholders.
